Peniel Giving Page Tithes, Offerings, Love Gifts , And Donations.

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”  And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say,

“They share freely and give generously to the poor.
 Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”

 2 Corinthians 9:7-9

The following are “Facts And Questions” concerning your financial giving at Peniel.

We give to follow what the Word of God teaches us in Malachi 3:6-12

“For I am the Lord, I do not change;
Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
Yet from the days of your fathers
You have gone away from My ordinances
And have not kept them.
Return to Me, and I will return to you,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
“But you said,
‘In what way shall we return?’

“Will a man rob God?  Yet you have robbed Me!  But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’  In tithes and offerings.

You are cursed with a curse,
For you have robbed Me,
Even this whole nation.
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.

11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,
So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”
Says the Lord of hosts;
12 “And all nations will call you blessed,
For you will be a delightful land,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

Tithing is defined by the Word of God and the church as payment of one-tenth or 10% of one’s annual income.

 If your paycheck says $200, take $200 times 10% and you get $20 for your tithe. Or take all your sources of income and divide it by 10 and the answer is your tithe.  It’s a pretty easy tithe calculation.
 Offerings differ from tithes. Unlike tithing, which has a required amount of how much you should give, offerings are more of a free will. It’s up to you how much “seed” = “offering” you want to give. Although the more you give, per scriptures, the more you will receive.

Yes, other then tithe and offering (unless you designated it for something specific) the entire amount will go to whatever you designated it for. If your designated giving has a specific financial amount that needs to be reached and that amount is reached then anything over that amount will be given to the next closest need.

No, you do not need to be a member or assist Peniel to be able to give tithes or offerings.  Many that give regularly and give generously are not able to physically attend our services.  Because they understand the principles of giving and receiving and they understand scriptures concerning tithing and offerings, they have chosen to give to the church that they feel is helping them spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally.  And or they believe Peniel Church is fertile soil and they know their finances are being used correctly to help many both in and out of our community of Southwest Florida.
